New Orleans, LA — The IV Waste, LLC team is deeply saddened by the New Year’s Day tragedy on Bourbon Street and is taking action to support the victims and their families. In response to this horrific act of terrorism, the company has established a dedicated IV Relief Fund to provide immediate and long-term assistance.
Sidney Torres, founder and owner of IV Waste, LLC, has pledged an initial donation of $200,000 to the fund. The company will also be calling on the community and partners to contribute to this critical cause. Donations will be used to support the families of those who lost their lives and to assist individuals who were injured during the attack.

“I love the people of New Orleans, the French Quarter, and the people who visit us. We stand with our community during this unimaginably difficult time,” said Torres. “This tragedy has shaken the heart of New Orleans, and we are committed to supporting those impacted as they begin the long road to healing.”
IV Waste encourages family members of the deceased and injured individuals to contact the fund directly for assistance. The company is committed to ensuring that all those affected receive the support they need during this challenging time.
As part of its long-term response, IV Waste also aims to memorialize the victims of this tragedy. Plans are underway to collaborate with the City of New Orleans, the Vieux Carré Commission, French Quarter stakeholders, and other relevant parties to design and implement a lasting tribute to honor those who lost their lives.

The first IV Relief Fund was originally established in 2019 to aid recovery efforts in the Bahamas following the devastation of Hurricane Dorian. Since then, it has evolved to provide support in the wake of various disasters. In line with this mission, the fund will work to provide both immediate financial assistance and ongoing resources to those affected by the New Year’s Day tragedy.
